The Shalom Spiritual Center is a ministry that seeks to transform lives by living out the words of our Master Teacher, Jesus the Anointed one “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind. And love your neighbor as you love yourself” Luke 10:27 The Good News Bible.

We seek to teach Spiritual Principles rather than dictate what you should believe. Instead, we invite you to discern how Spirit moves in your life. As a result, we trust that we can deepen our faith while experiencing a more intimate relationship in God.

COFFEE TABLE CONVERSATIONS

In this space, we are invited to grow spiritually, share our doubts and pain, and build community. Coffee Table Conversations are scheduled for the 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Our study guide for this session is a book written by Rev. Dr. David Alexander, Freedom From Discord. In this book, we will examine the promise of Liberation from a New Thought perspective, both as individuals grounded in a faith that demands justice for all and collectively as a nation that still struggles to live out the words of its constitution.

TAIZÉ WORSHIP

You are also invited to join us every 4th Saturday of the month for a Taizé worship experience at 10:30 a.m. Taizé worship involves chanted prayers, meditation, scripture readings, and a brief reflection. Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Care are provided as requested.
