A Ministry of the United Church of Christ
Are you searching for something that will give meaning to your life and to the chaotic world we live in? Do you long for community even when you are surrounded by family and friends? Do you experience a sense of sadness even while living a life of abundance?
Often these impressions are the Soul's way of reminding us of our true and authentic selves. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
The Shalom Spiritual Center is a ministry that seeks to inform and transform lives by living out the words of our Master Teacher, Jesus, the Anointed One "You shall love the Eternal One your God with everything you have: all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself" (Luke 10:27, The Voice Bible Translation).
We seek to teach Spiritual Principles rather than prescribe what you should believe. Instead, we invite you to discern how Spirit is speaking and moving in your life.
Here we welcome your questions, your uncertainty, and your doubts, because we believe that one's faith is a journey, not a destination. We trust that together we can deepen our faith and experience a more intimate relationship in God.
If you are seeking a spiritual home and a community that will guide and nurture you on your spiritual journey, then join us and let our home become your home.
No matter where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
Soul Talk is a sacred space where individuals are encouraged to share their joys, concerns, and desires for the future. Soul Talk provides a flexible format that allows space for sharing, reflection on spiritual principles, and a time for closing thoughts and prayers.
We look forward to seeing you online on Thursdays* from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Eastern). Please sign up on our Meetup page to participate: meetup.com/the-shalom-spiritual-center
*Soul Talk will not meet on the 4th Thursdays in November and December.
The Shalom Spiritual Center is a ministry dedicated to teaching spiritual principles that engage and nurture individuals on their spiritual journey.
